These painting knives from No.1 to No. 10 have a slightly long drop shaped blade and are part of the classic line Tintoretto series 132, which consists of 36 instruments. The painting knives are traditionally used with oil or acrylic colours, as a replacement of the brushes. Very useful for applying thicker layers of color, or to create various texture effects, also for mixing paints, mediums, additives, pigments, etc. There is a large crank between the handle and the blade to keep the artist's hand off the paint surface. Made with a steel blade, with varnished wooden handle and polished brass ring.
