Tintoretto's 980 series brushes are made from high-quality extra-fine ox hair from the "Salers" breed. They do not tend to form a particularly fine tip, but in return, they offer exceptional softness, excellent color retention and release and leave a fine texture after application. They are suitable for classical painting styles, for striving for perfect chromatic mixing of oil paints, as in the paintings of the undisputed master Roberto Ferri. The long-handled version of the brush is among the most sought-after tools not only by famous artists, but also in art academies for oil and acrylic techniques when working with an easel. The brushes are made with a nickel-plated brass ferrule and a long birch wooden handle, varnished in red.

TIP: Clean with a proper cleaning solvent, depending on the type of paint. Do not leave the brush dipped in a container with water or solvent because this will damage the fibers.
