With its specific almost square bristle shape, the Tintoretto 289 series brush is suitable for painting techniques such as impasto, characterized by fast and dense strokes. It is created from high-quality natural bristles through a special process that makes the tips of the fibers thinner, softer and slightly curved inward. This facilitates the application of paints and provides a smooth touch to the surface with less scratching compared to ordinary hair of lower quality. The brush is made with a nickel-plated brass ferrule and a long wooden handle with a clear varnish and a black tip.
TIP: Clean with a proper cleaning solvent, depending on the type of paint. Do not leave the brush dipped in a container with water or solvent because this will damage the fibers.
