The Tintoretto series 140 is made with Kazan squirrel hair. The extreme capillarity together with the greatest softness, make this squirrel brush an exceptional instrument for watercolour techniques. Employed also in ceramic and glass paintings. Since the colours employed in these techniques are essentially water-based, in order to avoid oxidation ferrules are by tradition in natural quill rather than in metal. The brush is made without handle.
TIP: Clean with a proper cleaning solvent, depending on the type of paint. Do not leave the brush dipped in a container with water or solvent because this will damage the fibers.
